Home Baked Beans

Overview: This is a very easy recipe with the only drawback being that it takes a long time to actually bake the beans but I think that they are worth the time and effort every now and then. These beans warm up your home and make it smell delicious.

Lime Light: I would like to thank Kristina would I used to work with for giving me this great recipe after I begged her for it because hers that she brought to the company Christmas party were sooooo good!

These are the ingredients:
1 Tall can of Original Bush's Baked Beans
1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
1 Cup Bacon Bits
1 Tsp Chopped Onions

Preheat oven to 250 Degrees.
Drain bean juice in Pyrex dish or disposable pan and mix in brown sugar until dissolved in sauce.
Mix in bacon bits and chopped onions.
Add in beans and stir all together.
Stir bean concoction every 30 minutes to prevent hardening and cook between 3.5 - 4.5 hours.
Judge the goodness by the consistency. Hope you enjoy!
